App.js Conf 2022

It’s been almost two years since we had to cancel App.js Conf 2020 due to the global health crisis, and this year we have decided that under the right circumstances, we can meet again!

Well then, let’s make it official — App.js Conf is coming back as an in-person event in June 2022!

The gist

The App.js Conf 2022 will take place June 8–10, 2022 in Kraków, Poland. Just as in the previous editions, the content of the conference will focus on React Native and Expo.

The first day of App.js (June 8th) will be devoted to practical, day-long workshops run by React Native professionals. We will be announcing the hosts and agenda as soon as possible. Presentations and conference talks will take place on June 9th and 10th.

Attendance restrictions & safety measures

We’re constantly monitoring the global health situation and in light of the current circumstances, we’ve decided that App.js Conf’s attendees, speakers, and partners must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or must test negative no earlier than 24h before the event. There is also going to be a testing stand for attendees who’d like to get a rapid test. The cost of the test is around 10 EUR.

We also continue to monitor the situation, and we reserve the right to act in accordance with the Polish and international health officials’ guidelines. We also ask our participants to do the same for themselves — please keep track of any travel restrictions from and to your countries of origin.

Call for Papers

We are looking for speakers to shine at App.js Conf!

If you have a topic in mind, and you think it would be something interesting to our core audience (mostly mobile developers at various stages of seniority) — don’t hesitate to apply! Fill out the application form here and wait for our feedback. We have a limited number of slots available, so we can’t choose all the topics we find interesting. That’s why we have decided to reward 10 people (out of those whose application won’t be chosen as a conference talk) with a free conference ticket.

Tickets 2022

Tickets will be available in two categories:

• conference tickets allowing you to attend both days of the conference (June 9–10) and accompanying events like the afterparty;
• combo tickets allowing you to participate in a workshop (June 8), attend both days of the conference (June 9–10), and accompanying events like the afterparty.

We will start the tickets sale with the Early Birds 40% discount - that’s the lowest the price will get, so follow our Twitter account closely or sign up for our newsletter, so you don’t miss the opportunity!

Information for App.js Conf 2020 ticket holders

In order to attend the 2022 edition, you will need to get a new ticket issued. Everyone who purchased conference tickets for App.js Conf 2020 and didn’t request a refund will be entitled to attend the 2022 edition — please expect an email from us with a code that would allow you to grab a new ticket for free. Workshop tickets holders will be presented with this year’s workshops program and will be able to choose the option they find most interesting.
